Model Scale Radio Television Tower
This is a model radio/tv tower I built in my spare time during the winter of 2007. It is signed and dated by me on April 17th, 2007 after all the final touches and tests were completed. All work was completed by myself without assistance, including all electrical and electronics. I attempted to make this as real as possible with as little artistic exaggeration as possible. The red steady burn and flashing beacon lights realistically represent the actual Honeywell (TM)L-810 and KG-114 lighting systems respectively. The humming sound you hear simulates the cooling system for the equipment inside the housing. It has the warning signs posted up indicating RF and Microwave radiation present. The tower structure itself is made from wood. Overall, this design of mine was inspired by actual radio towers seen close up. Comments are always welcome.
